جائزة البحث العلمي في مجال مكافحة الإدمان لشباب الباحثين
جائزة أبحاث الإدمان ستُمنح لأفضل ثلاث دراسات في مجال إدمان المخدرات. يجب أن يكون المتقدمون من الباحثين الشباب الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 40 عامًا. وللتأهل، يجب أن تكون الدراسات قد نُشرت خلال السنوات الخمس الماضية (2020–2024) في مجلة دولية مُحكّمة. قيمة الجوائز هي كالتالي: 30,000 جنيه مصري للبحث الحاصل على المركز الأول، 20,000 جنيه مصري للبحث الحاصل على المركز الثاني، و10,000 جنيه مصري للبحث الحاصل على المركز الثالث.
تُقدَّم هذه الجائزة من قبل صندوق مكافحة وعلاج الإدمان والتعاطي (FCTAA) في إطار التزامه بتعزيز البحث العلمي في مجال الإدمان ودعمه للاستراتيجية الوطنية للوقاية من الإدمان وعلاجه.
تتألف لجنة التحكيم من أساتذة من كلية الطب بجامعة الزقازيق وخبراء من صندوق مكافحة وعلاج الإدمان والتعاطي.

سيتم التقييم بناءً على المعايير التالية:
1. الأصالة والإبداع: يجب أن تقدم الدراسة أسئلة بحثية، فرضيات، أو منهجيات جديدة. ويجب أن تساهم في تقديم رؤى أو مفاهيم جديدة في مجال دراسات الإدمان.
2. الصرامة العلمية: يجب أن تظهر الدراسة تصميمًا بحثيًا قويًا، بما في ذلك المنهجيات الواضحة، وحجم العينة المناسب، والمجموعات الضابطة، والتحليل الإحصائي المتين. يجب أن تكون الدراسة قابلة لإعادة التكرار وأن تقدم نتائج واضحة.
3. الأثر على المجال: يجب أن تكون الدراسة ذات قدرة على التأثير في ممارسات العلاج، أو السياسات العامة، أو نهج الصحة العامة، أو التوجهات المستقبلية في أبحاث الإدمان.
4. التطبيقات العملية: يجب أن تكون النتائج ذات صلة بالتطبيقات الواقعية، مثل تحسين علاج الإدمان، أو استراتيجيات الوقاية.
5. الاعتبارات الأخلاقية: يجب أن تلتزم الدراسة بمعايير أخلاقية عالية في البحث.
Addiction Research Award for Young Investigators
The Addiction Research Award will be presented to the top three studies in the field of drug addiction. Eligible applicants must be young investigators under the age of 40. To qualify, studies must have been published within the past five years (2020–2024) in a peer-reviewed international journal. The awards are as follows: LE 30,000 for the first-place study, LE 20,000 for the second-place study, and LE 10,000 for the third-place study.
This award is offered by the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Abuse (FCTAA) as part of its dedication to advancing addiction research and supporting the national strategy for the prevention and treatment of addiction.
The selection committee includes professors from the Faculty of Medicine at Zagazig University and experts of the FCTAA. The last day of papers submission is 31 January 2025.

Evaluations will be based on the following criteria:
1. Originality and Innovation: The study should present novel research questions, hypotheses, or methodologies. It should contribute new insights or perspectives to the field of addiction studies.
2. Scientific Rigor: The study should demonstrate strong research design, including clear methodologies, appropriate sample sizes, controls, and robust statistical analysis. The study should be reproducible and have clear results.
3. Impact on the Field: The research should have the potential to influence clinical practices, policy-making, public health approaches, or future research directions related to addiction.
4. Practical Implications: The findings should be relevant to real-world applications, such as improving addiction treatment, prevention strategies, or interventions.
5. Ethical Considerations: The study must adhere to high ethical standards in research, including informed consent, confidentiality, and addressing potential biases or conflicts of interest.
